Q: Wait a minute...didn't you already have a Car Show as your Eagle Scout Project? Why are you having another Show?
A: Yes original Show in 2018 was my BSA Eagle Scout Service Project. But, fulfilling a requirement was only one aspect of the event. The primary goal was (and still is) to help the great organization that is Make-A-Wish North Dakota, while providing a day of fun for the FM community!
Q: Why did you select Make-A-Wish as your Show beneficiary?
A: Well… It's all about paying it forward! I am a Wish Child myself. At the age of 13 I was diagnosed with Cancer. Through all that “fun stuff,” I was eligible for a Wish. My Wish was to have my ’74 Trans Am restored to take my drivers test in. You can read more about my Wish story by clicking here. With the help of area businesses, they went above and beyond my wildest dreams to make it happen. So, when I was thinking about this Show, giving back to Make-A-Wish was a no-brainer.
